The Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. House Bill No. 2679 – “A BILL to amend and reenact §20-2-5 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to the possession and carrying of firearms for self-defense in state parks, state forests, state wildlife management areas and state rail trails; providing exceptions and criminal penalties for violations.”
